ERP Test Lead
Pointwest is seeking a highly experienced Test Lead to oversee the testing and cutover strategy for a major cloud-based Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) transformation project for a large public sector client in Washington State.
Role Overview
The Test Lead will be responsible for the end-to-end planning, execution, and management of all testing activities related to a large-scale Workday implementation. You will ensure that all configured functionalities, integrations (API, SFTP), and business processes meet organizational needs while maintaining a high-quality, defect-free deployment.
Key Responsibilities- Strategy & Planning: Enhance and maintain a comprehensive, risk-based testing strategy and plan aligned with the broader enterprise program.
- Test Case Development: Define coverage for end-to-end, integration, and functional scenarios; manage a centralized repository in Azure DevOps (ADO).
- Execution & Defect Management: Lead system, integration, regression, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT); manage the full defect lifecycle and lead triage meetings.
- Environment & Data Management: Coordinate stable test environments and ensure test data is representative, secure, and privacy-compliant.
- Cutover Planning: Lead testing-related cutover activities, including mock cutovers and go-live readiness sign-offs.
- Automation: Evaluate and recommend automation frameworks for regression-heavy and high-risk scenarios.
Required Qualifications- Experience: Minimum of 10 years as a software testing or development lead for large-scale SaaS/ERPimplementations.
- Technical Mastery: Deep knowledge of test case design, automation frameworks, and scripting languages.
- Tools: Proficient in Azure DevOps (ADO) for tracking status and managing defects.
- Integration Expertise: Experience testing complex integrations, including API and data migration.
- Education: Relevant professional experience in program-level coordination and technical project management.
Project Details- Duration: Initial term March through June 30, 2026, with potential for extension based on legislative approval.
- Structure: Time and Materials agreement.
- Location: Washington State (75% Remote/On-site requirements as needed)
